the 12vdc output on ALL portable generators is marginal regardless of brand
its only a few amps, usually less than 8amps and its un regulated
meaning it is only useable as charger meant to get enough power in to a small battery to give it enough power to maybe start the vehicle it came from
it should be disconnected before trying to start your garden tractor or small car
much better to use the 120vac to power a true battery charger
