I just picked up the CPE 2000 and have a question for other users. I admit I did not go through all 244 pages here so forgive me if this has been addressed. When I went to fill the crankcase I carefully measured the .42 qts. and added it only to find that it was running out of the fill hole. It seemed to be considerably overfull. I tipped it up and added the rest but every time you remove the fill plug it runs out all over. I double checked my measuring and I was right on. Anyone else had this happen?
There is residual oil from the factory. You only need to fill it up so that it comes to the edge of the fill no further.
