Only if you want to run the generator for a month and a half to charge a depleted battery bank. ;)

Most battery tenders are only designed to maintain and already fully charged battery, very few put out more than maybe 1 AMP tops, meaning that to charge a large deep cycle battery, nonetheless a bank of deep cycle batteries, would take ages.
