I got a response from the eBay guy on that charger listed earlier - they sell direct on their website
here.It seems a lot of HAM radio users buy these and the reviews are positive. It's still not clear to me if these are well suited to battery charging duties (as opposed to power supply only) but I'm going to email and and ask for clarification.
This is a little off topic, but the "tie in" to being Champion related is that I'm trying to find a suitable charger that will couple nicely with a single Champ i2000 while still charging quickly.
