My "new" 2000i burns oil. I've been running it on and off for a couple of weeks and it still blows blue smoke. I gave it a chance thinking that maybe it was upside down during shipping. Or, since I bought it as a "demo" unit, that maybe the oil level was overfilled when new since when I got it the inside of the bottom panel was covered in oil. Now I need it for our trip to Yellowstone next weekend and it smokes and stinks. Will not make for good neighbors at the campgrounds. Looks like I'll be calling customer support tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do before the weekend. I'm not optimistic.
