I have been extremely impressed with the CPE 2000i performance, design and build quality."

Thanks for reading the blog. The more readers, the more I get paid and I like getting larger checks for popular blogs :B
I had my Kipor KGE2000i, a Yamaha 2000i from a local dealer/rental center and a friend's Honda 2000i. The CPE2000i actually took a larger load than the Kipor, which was equal to the Honda 2000i. The Yamaha was the poorest performer of the four. Now, all that said, I was NOT trying to run a RV converter/charger during my testing. I was using inductive and resistive loads (heaters, light bulbs and power tools) - which the CPE2000i does with ease. Noise levels were measured with appropriate instruments. We now know that the CPE2000i apparently struggles with devices that have a power factor below 85%. At the time I was not aware of these problems.
I use my CPE2000i in preference to the Kipor KGE2000i. I just like it's design and easy starting. Both are, of course, Chinese built inverter generators.
