I think almost all of the generator tests have to be taken more as single data point rather than a sweeping conclusion. Pretty much everybody here running a test uses a sample base of exactly one generator, not a very good representative sample. Add in other factors like altitude, temperature, quality of the gasoline, etc., and drawing a hard conclusion is even riskier. IMO, hard conclusions can be made only after we have multiple results from different people that show a definite trend. To balance the report about the Yamaha generator, I've seen a post or two where it looks to be a full equal to, if not a bit stronger than the Honda.
