Thank you for your response. I don't have a meter to measure the draw from the chainsaw, are they expensive to get? I also don't have a lot of shop tools. I did however use a 1500 watt skillet, which worked fine on one of the generators. I will try the rolling start, that might help.

I'm at work right now, but the extension cord seems fairly heavy duty and it's about 20 ft in length, but I can check when I get home for the exact details of it.
