At least the new one shows a 30 amp TT outlet - the first for an inverter I am aware of. No extra cost or easy to lose adapters needed.
Unyalli - I know how you feel. Same thing happened to me when I bought a new laptop with Windows 7 - next thing I knew they had Windows 8. Always something newer and (seemingly) better no matter how long we wait. :) Enjoy your 2000 watt units - they have a lot of benefits a single larger unit will not. One being weight - you might have to lift twice with two units but at least you can load a 2000i in the back of a truck by yourself without risking physical injury.:)
