I've read about people getting an upgraded stator in this thread. I don't recall if anyone mentioned if they have any measured benefit from that.

I've discovered that the 2000i units that claim 1700/2000 (73536,73540)have the larger stator. Is it reasonable to assume that the larger stator would also support a larger inrush current?
