i remember "the professor" saying he at spoken at lenght to Paul Cole when he was with CPE
and that the inverters are different desgins so as NOT to infringe Hondas patent
while the block diagrams are similar parallel drawings

i really doubt that the TWO DIfferent inverters would work well when connected to together
this is NOT DC power like batteries , and the cross connecting of the outputs of of two different inverters would very likely damage both of them
