The Old Fake Vent Trick Repair

Wipe that ugly yellow off with a paper towel moistened with acetone. Change towels after each quick wipe, don't scrub. Report back.

My other choice was white duct tape. Although I do like that new White Gorilla Tape for repairing cuts in the rubber roof. Poor man's Eternabond :)

We used to winter in our RV on the Island and you are so right there are few areas that are nicer.Nothing wrong with that wood box.

What a great way to vent your frustration over an error in judgement on distance backing up. Pun intended.

I hope we don't see cooling vents appearing on your solar panels for higher amperage and voltage generation rates due to cooler temperatures.

Of course, you know people will be stopping by when you are parked at a campground and say:"We just have to ask about that vent...."

If you think that's ugly, how about the box I built on the back bumper to hold the lumber supply for under the jacks and low side tires ? :)

Also the eye-catching yellow outside shower door (got to fix that--I tried the lube (whatever that was, forget now) spray and it got it whiter briefly, but now I will try actually painting it white as recommended for that in another rv.net thread somewhere)

So the vent is just part of the scenery. Just too bad for anybody following us--I can't see it from the truck. :)
