When Oropeza was designing voltage regulators before Wetherill Associates International got their dirty mitts on the company, Transpo came out with the "911" series of voltage regulator. They have a massive 100-amp rated MOSFET power transistor and a 20-amp switching transistor. For ambulances. The 911-02 comes with a remote mounted pot. These regulators use MR 2535 avalanche rectifiers for spike protection and 400 volt rated capacitors. They qualify for KKK-1822-AA federal regulation ambulance (Star of Life) alternator duty. I've purchased in excess of 100 02's, 03's and 04's. Oldest is now 33 years old a 24 volt model.
