Thermostat clicks on, furnace fan doesn't ...

We have a Suburban SF-30, and are parked with full hook-ups, and battery is at 13.25 volts at thermostat.

Last night when arrived back from shopping, we turned the thermostat up only to hear a 'click' and no fan, turned it down, then up again, still again 'click' and fan not turning on.

This morning took cover off, did the thermostat reset, click is heard, but no fan. Turned the Reset rocker switch off/on and fan, furnace ran for less than a minute or so and quit with no cooling down - no fan running etc. ... reset rocker switch off/on repeated and result was nothing.

There is a mobile rv tech who is booked today, so suggested we check fuses, etc. Did and nothing. Wiring is good in thermostat as to sending signal, etc.

BTW travel trailer is a 2004, and circuit board was replaced two years ago.
  • There is an on/off rocker switch on the furnace itself that can go bad.

RV Mobile Tech is coming in an hour or two .. fortunate in that it is 52 degrees outside and one electric inside RV is keep us toasty. And yes, tech thinks it may be the circuit board also.

    Thank you for reply.

Look for a circuit breaker mounted to the fan housing. Some have them some don't.
