Thickness of coroplast for underbelly enclosure?

I'm getting ready to close up and insulate the underbelly. It turns out that there are several thicknesses of coroplast for the bottom panel. I am leaning toward half inch paneling, but I was wonder...

I installed 1/4", and ended up also installing some angle aluminum strips between the frame rails to support it. The 1/2" stuff might be stiff enough to require less/no support, especially on a smaller trailer.
