Thickness of coroplast for underbelly enclosure?

I'm getting ready to close up and insulate the underbelly. It turns out that there are several thicknesses of coroplast for the bottom panel. I am leaning toward half inch paneling, but I was wonder...

Coroplast is manufactured in metric sizes from 2 to 10 millimeter. My trailer has 4mm material. Not sure where all the 1/4" and 1/2" measurements came from.
