First trip of the season this past weekend :B ... standing on my campsite talking to friends when all of sudden we were all startled by a h*** of a racket ... yep, guy driving by with a wheeled tote tank in tow. :E
Ummmmmm thanks, but no thanks. :MDutch_12078 wrote:
It must not have been a Barker with pneumatic tires then. You likely wouldn't have even noticed it unless you happened to see it go by. The tow vehicle makes more noise than the tote.
I wouldn't know or care what brand of tote it was, I'll never own one again. :( I made that mistake once back when we owned a popup with a shower but after I realized what a PITA any wheeled tote is to deal with I sold it to another unsuspecting RVr, put the proceeds to a FloJet waste macerator, and now always service my tanks at home. To each his/her own. :B
I agree, to each their own. I'd hate to be tied down to only staying on sites without sewers until my tanks filled up though. A macerator doesn't help with that. I find hauling a tote to the dump station once a week much less of a PITA than breaking camp to move the entire coach there to dump.
