Thanks for all the replies. None of my 3 100w roof top mounted panels are tilt-able, but I still have my Renogy 100 watt suitcase. I like the 200 watt shown here and it cost the same as the Renogy 100watt. The 200 watt portable probably can't be tapped into my system as the voltage is only 18 volts and my Renogy system is 20 volts. But it sure sounded good as the 500 watts would be generating over 26 amps. Of course, that would depend on how low my 2 group 27's are and what the battery will accept.
On a cloudy day, the 300 watts on the roof generate at least enough to cover the amperage draw all day from the fridge, water pump etc. Not much more to recharge the battery's total drawn amps.
