I had the JC Refrigeration unit in my Arctic Fox. It worked okay, but we could never get it adjusted so that the freezer would freeze ice cream without freezing stuff in the refrigerator. The fans you have to put inside the fridge are loud, and when I contacted their support those fans were their only suggestion. We just defaulted to having a fridge that wouldn't freeze stuff, and a freezer that hovered around 10F instead of 0-low single digits F, if I recall correctly.
We now have a Haier 10cu ft residential, which fits in the same cabinet, costs less (<$500 from Lowe's, if I recall correctly), the freezer and fridge both work properly, and has so much more room. It uses about the same amount of energy as the JCR conversion, 1.0-1.3kWh/day.
The only way I would suggest a JCR HVAC unit is if you don't have a cabinet that will take a residential without substantial modification. That said, the JCR is way better than the absorption units.
I'm talking about an Arctic Fox 1140, as well. The same unit you have, so the Haier will fit fine.
