tire inflation recommendations

Hi all,

I finally got to the scales! Here are the numbers. I'm looking for recommendations on tire pressures.

front 1600 kg 3527.396 pounds
rear. 4890 kg 10780.6 pounds
Total 6490 kg 14308 pounds

Driver's Front 910 kg 2006.21 pounds
Driver's Rear 2510 kg 5533.603 pounds

Passenger's Front 780 kg 1719.61 pounds
Passenger's Rear 2350 kg 5180.863 pounds
  • Hi,

The RV was loaded (water tanks full), but only one passenger (me). There is little I can do to move weight to the passenger's side, unfortunately. The propane tank is on the passengers side. No other heavy items are on that side, and storage compartments are minimal on that side.

The Tires are 235/85R16 Toyo load rating E. Before I had 225/75R16 so I'm pretty certain I was overloaded.
  • We need to know the mfg and size of your tires. You also need to move some weight from the DS to the PS if possible. Are those weights with full gas and propane, empty holding tanks and packed like you would take it on a trip, including passengers.

Use the tire pressure recommended by the tire manufacture.
