Tire speed

Never saw this question asked, say your truck has 275/70/18 tires your trailer has 225/75/15 speed rated 65, if you’re truck is doing 65 how fast are your trailer tires going what I am getting on a tire speed conversion chart the trailer tires are going 76 mph

    Use GPS or a phone app to see how fast your really going but assuming your trucks speedo is right, that's' the speed you, the truck and the trailer oare going - period.

    Do a ratio between circumference of the trailer tires to the circumference
    You can take circumference of each and determine how many revolutions per mile.
    I believe 76 will be close in many cases.

    I would venture a guess that if your trailer is going faster than your tv, you might have problems!
