To plug a VERY small inverter into the wall receptacle?

I'm not using 110V devices other than electric shaver and charging small tools or laptop.
175 watt MSW inverter on the night table, DC wires passed through the crack into the trailer basement to battery. This $20 gizmo has only one 110V receptacle, creating a mess of extension cords.

What if I make a male-male AC pigtail and plug the inverter output into the AC receptacle nearby on the wall? 1.5A max @110V. There is no shore power of any kind and no generator.
