Toilet pipe

Wife and I just got home from first trip with our new TT. Everything worked great except I used a bit to much water in the bowl this morning. Things got wet. Made me think of this thread. Thanks

I was referring to the OP’s toilet design which isn’t terribly personal, at least not to me.

I’m an idiot! I just realized if you fill the bowl with water and then let er rip it clears that pipe right away... just letting the water pour down doesn’t do it..

Yup! Like I said, when I first discovered this I made a post here about the proper way to go poop in an RV toilet, using 3-year-old-appropriate words, and they deleted the thread.

The trick to going poopy in an RV toilet is to fill the bowl with water first. Not only does it help everything clear the bomb bay doors, but it reduces crayon smearing on the side walls. :)

I have the very same plumbing under the commode in my 95 Bounder. Never a problem. Remove the commode and feel around down there for what ever is catching the TP. Take a file or sandpaper and smooth what ever is catching the TP. Install commode with new flange seal. Clean finger nails profusely.

Since you just figured out volume makes better draining. You "May" have another problem. When you have the slight bend in the 3 inch down pipe and you have experianced Low flow. You may have a small POOP pyramid where the pipe dumps into the tank. I would fill the tank full and use a triple dump of chemical and let sit for a few days and then flush the tank 4 or 5 times. That would get rid of any possible residue that may have accumulated. Doug
