Toilet

How do you keep water from coming out from under seat while flushing. It does it when on pump or city water. Have not seen a pressure value to turn pressure down.

Thanks,
  • I have a Thetford like the OP.
The water enters the top left of the bowl at the top rim, then swirls around counter clockwise into the bowl.

    Poor design by Thetford.
Sounds more like a Dometic 310/320 toilet. The holes under the seat in the rim spray everywhere.
  • My toilet does this to. If I don't at least put the seat down it makes a big mess, with seat down some water is contained but not all.
  • Get an in-line valve for the water line and restrict the flow just enough to keep this from happening.
I put one on mine just to keep it from using too much water when we're dry camping. (my SeaLand is a water hog!)
