My Carrier AirV units have easily been on top of my MH over 10 year's, both 15000 BTU units and I do alot of RV'ing in warm/hot climates....in other words, they have seen plenty of use. I feel I've got my "use" out of them but if I were to replace one or both again.....probably go with the Coleman units(which is what the MH had when I purchased it some 13 year's ago).
