Doubt you'll get a clear consensus on what defines "top-of-the-line". Dometic and Coleman are the dominant players and neither have any significant pros or cons. Some prefer how the controls interface, or the aesthetics, of one brand over another.
There's only thing I would add. If you intend to run your a/c with a generator any significant amount of time, I'd give the latest -9xx series Coleman Power Saver units some consideration. Their continuous and inrush (start) current requirements are much lower than your typical OEM unit. The lower current draw will enable the use of smaller generators with the Eco mode on.
