I just talked about this exact issue in another thread. I suggest you trash can the torx screws and replace them with metric hex head cap screws. (unless you're worried about someone (a terrorist maybe) tampering with the oil drain plug on your genny.

Why? I have had nothing but good luck with torx screws.

Torn, it was late and I spent an hour trying to find the oilmfilter location. Thanks to you people, I never would have found it SINCE IT DOESN'T HAVE AN OIL FILTER???DUH, I feel,so,stupid.

When I bought my trailer with a built in Onan it came with two Onan oil filters.

The first time I changed the oil I was surprised to find that my model doesn't use an oil filter. :B Why did they include two filters? :B
