In my book Demco is the better dolly. It is a different type of tow dolly, it has 1 less pivot point in the system. It works more like a 4 wheel hand cart, where the front wheels caster/pivot.

I don't know where you getting your Demco dolly info, but the omly ones I have seen, and owned, has a sq tube straight axle, almost the same as the front of a motorhome that has kingpin spindles and steering w/ a tie rod w/ adjustable tie rod ends, exactly like the front of my motor home.
And yes, they are considered the best, and most expensive, but that's not saying that a rigid frame dolly w/ no steering whatsoever, such as the Acme, doesn't work good too, except for a little tire scrubbing in the turns.
