I am in Central Florida and discovered the spindles on my tow dolly are bent. Not sure they can be repaired or straightened. Especially considering the possible cost. Anyone know a shop within a few miles of Leesburg that I could check with ?

Need type and name of dolly, demco has a replacement bolt on if thats the one you have.

I gOOgled around and found a Thread thread that said a Master Tow requires a whole new "lower deck assembly" and that basically totals the dolly, between cost of part and labor.Then, Master Tow shows This Manual showing spindles as "parts" for about $70 each. I don't know whether those parts are available, and if so, if they're bolted in, welded on, etc.Inconclusive, but that's about all I could find.Maybe a trailer/boat trailer shop, even a major U-Haul shop could help.EDIT: WHY BENT??? Hit Something? Overloaded Dolly?

Check with a Truck frame and alignment shop. Ask there opinion.On our old dolly, something was bent and it had a 3/4" tow in, wore the tires out in about 3000 miles. Took it to a local frame/alignment shop and problem was fixed (no parts replaced) for less than $100. KenJust googled Truck Frame Shops Leesburg Fl . Can't personally recommend them, but its a place to start.Yes our dolly was in line between big rigs.Ken

Which Dolly is the best doesn't much matter at this point. OP has what he has, hopefully somebody'll be able to fix it for him.

And hopefully the OP will post an update.

Finally,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Been a busy winter. Contacted the local Truck-axle shop. They suggested Belew Welding (small shop) in Tavares.
Met with the owner John. He stated no problem and they would get to work on it. Called me a couple of days later he could find no problem. He could not explain why only the outside edge of the tire was wearing. However, since my new vehicle won't load on this dolly I am having to buy another one. So this one will be up for sale.
