You will never fully charge the "house" battery this way.
Why does the Towed vehicle battery need to be 'recharged' ?
The 12 volt direct line is plenty for virtually all towing conditions.
IMO fully recharging a large trailer house battery while driving is a bit overrated. Solar or generator at camp or solar on the road is the better solution.
