Well @#$%^&*! Proved you right last night.
I took the display out of the truck, sat in the dash of my car and drove 7 miles to town to the grocery. Went inside, got groceries and then drove home. The display showed the pressures and temperatures for all tires the entire time with no indication that it wasn't receiving data.
I can understand not alarming every time it misses a transmission, but I'd certainly think they could display a yellow light or statistics or something to indicate the communication was less than consistent. Poor engineering decision is my opinion.
