Shore power wiring goes to one 'input' side of transfer switch
Generator power wiring goes to other 'input' side of transfer switch
Main Power wiring comes from 'output' side of transfer switch to the Main AC Power Distribution Panel.
Converter/charger is feed AC power from main AC panel and provides DC power to DC Distribution Panel/Battery Charge
Inverter is feed DC power from battery and provides AC power to either dedicated AC circuits or main AC panel (depends on size of battery bank and size of inverter)
Hopefully you have help or at least someone to check system prior to energizing.
