Ok, check this out,.....see if it will work for you !
Plug your big cord into your inverter. Now you have 120v everywhere.
Now unplug....or unhardwire your converter, and add whatever 12 ga cord (romex) needed to plug it into the generator. Now if the solar don't cut it, the generator will. What am I missing.

Carrying it farther, if your inverter won't run the micro, then unplug the micro and plug it into the generator too. Same w/ the AC.
Probably just another way to skin a cat, but if micro and AC is not needed, seems very simple, and is very similar to what I'm doing
