I do all my power changes manually as well - I call it my poor man transfer switch.
I was planning on installing a couple of lid type connectors next to my shore power line hookup and us an short adapter cord to hook my shore line to the Inverter.
A scheme that looks something like this... The connector on the right is ties directly into the 120VAC receptacle of my 1500W PSW Inverter.
My trailer floorplan looks like this showing where all of these items are located
Doesnt bother me abit to crawl outside and hook thing up haha.. This cuts down on single point failure things...
