Transfering between the inverter and the generator

Not sure if anyone is still checking this topic, but I'm now thinking of upgrading my converter to a smart charger and then adding a transfer switch at the same time and then figuring out how to add a switch to go between the inverter and the generator. Any thoughts on that? I wish I could find a wiring diagram for my rig (Glendale Royal Classic).
