As stated all items should have their negatives (including the solar controller) on the outer end of the Trimetric shunt with only one (fat) wire between the inner end of the shunt and the neg battery (bank) post.
Another thing is with more than one charger, the batteries will only accept charge from the highest voltage charger if the voltages are too far apart. The lower voltage charger will supply no amps. If the chargers are near the same voltage they will add their amps and that will show on the Trimetic.
Hard to tell from the OP, but perhaps you have either not connected all 12v items to the outer end of the shunt, and/or you have one charger at a lower voltage than the other.
