Trimetric model to order? Leaning toward flush-mount...

Question

I note there is a newer Trimetric (2030) which seems to not have the -A versus -RV designations of the 2025. In my mind, I was envisioning mounting this flush like the 2025-A model. The likely location for everything is in the entry way and we're tall - don't need any additional hazards for bumping into things.

Does anyone know if the ones that come with the enclosure for surface mounting can be flush mounted?

If you want to flush mount it, get the flush mount version (it is available). When I did boat work before the depression, an owner bought a surface mount and wanted me to flush mount it. I did, but it was a bear to cut the hole.

Thanks for the input! Found a 2030-A on Ebay from a reputable seller and ordered it.
