Hi, I'm looking at the TST TPMS with Flow thru sensors that can be aired up without removing them from tire. The sensors look kinda large compared to non-Flow thru. Will I have to modify the front tire hub caps on my Class'A' MoHo (Ford F53) to use these sensors? If so, how?

If the valve stems protrude from the hub cap then the sensor should fit fine. I have them on my trailer on the inside duals of my tow vehicle. There wasn't room for them on the aluminum wheels on the truck.

If you have to add very much air you'll find yourself removing them anyway, since they flow such a small amount of air. If I have to add 5 psi to my 16" trailer tires I'll remove them. If I ever have any go bad I will replace them with the non-flow through ones. They're just not worth it, IMO anyway.The wheels on a dually would be the only place that I would have them.

I don't like the flow through, they look too big. :)

If you need to keep adding air. Something is wrong with the tires.I put my Pressure Pro sensors on in SW Miami the last of April every year and never need to touch them again before I get back from my 5 month summer trip.

It would be a real hassle on my rear duallies to have to take off the sensors when I add air. I could use the flow-through sensors though and wouldn't have to mess with that.
Thanks, That would apply to my current duals.

This summer I'm planning to install steel extenders along with new tires that should take care of that problem.

Made up my mind. I got the TST 507RV with 6 Flow-Thru & 4 regular Sensors for the TOAD also the range extender. Ordered by phone & got extra 10% off. $499 with THREE year Warranty!

I just upgraded from a 510 system to a 507 and it definitely is an improvement, except for the flow through sensors which are a pain. They do allow air to flow in but at a very slow rate. I agree that if I had to add more than a pound or two, I'd take them off.

I still don't know how to modify the front 19.5" hub caps for the Flow-Thru sensors.??

Post a pic of the problem and someone may have some suggestions. Many of us have no idea what your front hub caps look like.

So far the 507 system works GREAT. With the range extender turned on I even pick up the near side tires with the TOAD parked in the driveway 80 feet away! lol
