- hedgeExplorerok thanks, I love the idea of the panel but I think it'd be tough to mount it on my truck camper.
- JiminDenverExplorer IINo misprint
- hedgeExplorerAre they really 18' long or is the L of 216" a misprint?
- For low light conditions test those 24v monos in series.
12v panels in parallel are going nowhere. - JiminDenverExplorer IIThe best person to ask would be pianotuna. He has the Uni-solar panels and knows what they put out in really low light. He sees more in the rain than my mono sees in the lightest clouds.
- Snowman9000ExplorerHow much can the Unisolar provide in those conditions when the mono panels are dormant? I'll take any data or anecdotes I can get.

Great price!
Using their $200 250w/24v crystalline panel for comparison, the Unisolar only produces 40% of the watts of the crystalline per square inch or centimeter. We know the Unisolar outperforms in cloudy or shady conditions. But to what extent per square inch? I'd love to see data on that.
I'm not sure how you would measure it considering these will provide for you in conditions that my Mono panels wont even wake up the controller. Were I to move back to Michigan or the PNW, these would be my choice. - JiminDenverExplorer IIGreat price on the 136w strips. That's what they use to charge for the 68w strips. Too bad the Voc is too high for the Eco-w, I'd get a few for those low light days.

If they keep working me like they have for another month, I might pull the pin on an off grid system for Manse Westend. My dearly beloved, the Polish Princess is constantly squawking about the utility bill. Royalty is like that, always something under their shoe. :B
