Unreliable Dometic Comfort Control System
The Dometic Comfort Remote Control has never been reliable. Has anyone removed their Dometic system and just hung a regular T-stat on the wall instead? What adventure am I in for? Thnx

You will have to replace the control box on the air, and run thermostat wires, but the Dometic single zone LCD would be what you need. It requires 3 wires between the thermostat and roof top unit- 12 volt power, ground and data. The replacement box for the roof top unit should be plug and play- if the unit has a separate control box. The kit should be around $100.
