Unusual pinging issue (2005 Ford three valve V10)

I would take it to the dealer and let them hook it up and see what is going on. It sounds like you may have a bad knock sensor, it is what tells the computer that it has too much advance in the timing. It also could have a bad O2 sensor telling the computer to lean it out.
