I bought a used but well taken care of Bounder, 25ft. Clean , no leaks but the dash air has expired. It will have to be updated to the new Freon. Could anyone give me a ballpark idea what it will cost...
Your Bounder should have a Denso HVAC system, with expansion valve, not a capillary tube. Not much to convert. Just add the two adapter fittings to the ports, change the receiver/dryer, vacuum down and charge with R134A. You can tell the rookies in the business if they say "Freon". Freon is an EI DuPont trade mark and doesn't describe the chemicals used in refrigerant. The really trained pros will say "R 134A" or "refrigerant 134A". Good luck.
