I have found that the side in the sun is always 10 to 20+ degree's hotter.
If you have a real problem like grease on brakes or a failing bearing, you likely see temps of 160 degrees or better.
At least that is my experience.
But do lift the trailer and check for brake drag (there should be some but not too much), hub looseness and bearing smoothness.
