Soak a piece of cotton fuzzball with GOOP. This is messy.

With a wire, jam the soaked cotton into the hole.

Silicone to me is as about as worthless an adhesive or sealer, as they get.

GOOP is not just another brand of silicone. It is unique. Nothing else like it.
