- RVweekendsExplorerWe are just worried about it plugging up the tank in the future.
- TenOCNomadLeave it in. What harm can it do. If it comes out when you flush so what. I assume that if you had it you would not try to repair it.
- greenrvgreenExplorerSince I've done something similar I can tell you. If your dump valve is a straight shot take a long 2x2 with a small angle piece attached and fish for it. Of course you'll have to empty your tank first--just make sure you only open the dump valve part way and your rinse hose won't escape.
OTOH, you could just let it escape into the dumjp tank and buy a new one for like $20. - IAMICHABODExplorer II

If that braided hose is austenitic stainless steel (type 316) then it would be non-magnetic. Can't hurt to try tho. Maybe a tool grabber like this:
Pick up tool
Grabber tool, there is nothing magnetic on that part, just tried a magnet on mine. - RVweekendsExploreragesilaus - that was my thought, will have to give a try anyway.

- 2chiefsRusExplorerDo you have access to the top of your black tank? We cut a hole in the top of ours and installed a boat Deck Plate just in case something like this ever happened. We also use it to more throughly clean the black tank from time to time.
