Consider a Solar30. Mine was $37 on eBay. Has the readouts plus the Vabs is adjustable. Also has AH if you want that for anything. Vabs is also Float so you have to adjust the voltage going from camping to storage battery maintenance.
Confirm its voltage with your own meter once you adjust Vabs. The Solar30 calibration for that was out a bit, but its amps reading was correct. Mine was high so to get it to stay at 14.8 I set it to 14.3. Another forum member's Solar30 was only 0.1 high ISTR.
Like all controllers it should be mounted with low wire resistance to the battery. This usually means close, so you might have to go out to look at the readouts and change the Vabs instead of doing it inside the rig somewhere miles from the battery bank.
