YES! It does have a finite amperage input limit but this is a robust unit. Something that you tweak to get precise control. Exactly 5% of amp hour capacity, and a settable voltage limit of 16.0
It should work well for either float or EQ'ing I would think. It's both cc and cv, and both amps and volts are adjustable. A great find!
