24 volts on that trace is a much more efficient way to use the power. It also means that 1600 watts can be handled by a 60 amp morningstar controller. I think the pwm controller has a diversion load capability. I'm not sure what it is in amps. You get temperature compensated charging, as well.

So the goal is not to exceed 150 khw per month? Or the price goes nutty as a fruit cake?
