Curious as to others experience using Aviation gas 100LL which is a low lead 100 octane fuel. I have been using in all my small engines; lawn equipment and generators, for some time with excellent results. I have found it to be stable and easy on fuel lines. MOGAS or motor gas you get at the convenience store pump has 10-15% alcohol which has a propensity for absorbing water and attacking fuel lines and aluminum components. I get mine at the local airport for $5 per gallon, pricy, but, I think the benefits are worth it.
Good luck with that one.
ALL the small "airports" near me WILL NOT sell "AV" gas to just anyone, no, you MUST have a real registered "tail number" to be able to buy it.
I looked into ethanol free Racing fuel since I have a dirt track near me (Hosts the World of Outlaws at least once a year).. No dice there, MUST HAVE racing credentials to buy that fuel here.
Looked high and low in my area since I have several antique autos and was worried about the supposed affects to the fuel systems..
So far I have had NO ILL EFFECTS with my antique autos, lawn mower, weed wacker, several chain saws several generators.. ALL which sit for MONTHS at a time without being run.. AND NO I DO NOT USE ANY "STABILIZERS" or treatments.
Your info is also suspect, only a MAX OF TEN PERCENT Ethanol is allowed in ALL states.
15% IS NOT APPROVED nor is it mandated.
Not to mention Ethanol HAS been in your gas since the 1970s! Yep, remember "Gasohol", well it didn't sell at all and eventually as Lead was removed from fuels Ethanol was added along with a few other oxygenates along the way..
You HAVE been using Ethanol since the 1970s and never knew it..
