Using TV inverter to power fridge while towing Do or don't?

I recently witnessed a young woman smoking a cigarette as she walked past a gasoline spill. I cautioned her about such behavior. Impossible to tell if the guy next to you turned off his refrigerator flame. My point is that gasoline spills are common and highly flammable. I have been lucky so far and I also tow with the refrigerator on propane.
